Our vermeil bonds a thick layer of 18-carat gold to a sterling silver base. That thickness makes all the difference, it is what guarantees a hold over time that a thin layer of gold cannot offer.

VVS moissanite
Moissanite is a stone in its own right, not a diamond imitation. The chemist Henri Moissan first identified it in 1893, in fragments from a meteorite crater. The stone we set is created in a laboratory, with no mining at all.
Its refractive index is higher than a diamond's, which is what gives it those unmistakable flashes of colour the moment the light moves. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale it ranks among the most scratch-resistant stones there are, made to be worn every day rather than kept in a case.
VVS describes its clarity: inclusions are so rare that none is visible to the naked eye.
